The itinerary
- Day 1
Arrive in Leh (3,500 m)
Airport transfer and a relaxed day to acclimatise. Gentle evening stroll through Leh market.
- Day 2
Leh local sightseeing
Shey Palace, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries, and the Sindhu Ghat — a gentle acclimatisation day steeped in culture.
- Day 3
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Cross the mighty Khardung La to the Nubra Valley; visit Diskit monastery and ride Bactrian camels on the Hunder dunes.
- Day 4
Nubra to Pangong Lake
A spectacular drive along the Shyok river to the famed Pangong Lake; overnight beside the water.
- Day 5
Pangong to Leh via Chang La
Sunrise at the lake, then return to Leh over the high Chang La pass.
- Day 6
Departure
Transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight.

Nights at Pangong are cold even in summer, often near freezing. We advise warm layers and a good jacket; accommodation provides heavy blankets.
Yes — Inner Line Permits are required for Nubra and Pangong. We arrange all permits as part of the package.
